Featuring: 99 animals

The main subject of this journal is - we are not drawing enough animals. I mean it - just finding the 99 to put up here was a challange. Yes, we draw horses, dogs, cats and some other popular animals, but how many carabaos or vischacas can you find? I found 99 different animals and searched them up in Da. As you can see, some animals weren't find in drawing section. Fantasy is heavily related to reality and what nature has shown us often is the base stone to how , why and what we draw. How come there are so few different animals to be found in Da?

It was really hard to find the drawn animals I had set up to find - it's suprising how little we actually draw animals that aren't commonly found around us.

Sad really.

Well... That's because you need some reference to draw something you are not used to drawing and for that purpose you need to see the actual animal at least once in order to understand it and be able to draw it better. So most people won't really bother... it's quite understandable actually, once you think about it! ^^ It is a pity though...

But you can't do anything about it, can you?

it is kinda sad i guess because there are not as much as anime or something like that on here

but i guess that makes them special, because they are so far away the more a person is put into the painting and drawing with more raw emotion ^_^
